Happy New Year ~ 2006!!

Happy New Year everyone!!!

I was going to try and get caught up on the months I missed from the end of 2005 but I think I'll just summarize right here ;)

Let's see, I started college again in October. It all went pretty well and I wound up with a 4.0 average ... making the Dean's list and Summa Cum Laude. Now I have a break and will head back to school on January 17. Christian and Toree came out for Thanksgiving week. It was so nice to have them back home even if it was for just a week. Christian is playing trumpet in band and Toree is playing the clarinet. As most know, Christian is in a very advanced math class ... Algebra I in 7th grade. Normally that is offered to the advanced students in 8th grade. Madison is doing very well in school and dealing with her hearing loss well - especially since her teacher works with her, realizing it is her hearing loss and not a behavior problem. Madison finished up cheerleading this year and had a lot of fun at Cheer-Off. Bailey is the brightest child in his pre-school class. His teacher goes on and on about him. She simply can't believe how smart he is at such a young age. They think he is a doll as well and he is well behaved. Morgan Haley began a Mother's Morning Out program in September due to me starting school and she is loving it. She's a little stinker sometimes but her teachers deal with it well and she realizes she isn't going to get away with anything just cause she's cute!

We all got to ice skate for the first time. Madison and Bailey are naturals!! I didn't do too shabby and Morgan Haley didn't like it at all. She enjoyed just sitting and watching us though. We also saw Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber from Veggie Tales! It took a little while for the kids to warm up to the characters but once they did they stayed enthralled. Let's see, we also went to the Festival of Trees and saw all sorts of trees decorated in various fashions. There was even a huge sand creation. I will have to get all these pictures uploaded to photobucket for y'all to see!

Well, that's all I can think of!!! There were lots of birthdays and anniversaries celebrated during these past few months that I didn't get around to either. I'll work on being better in the New Year but with school, the web updates take a back burner.

Talk to everyone soon! Have a safe and prosperous 2006!

Love to all!!!
