Happy Birthday, Morgan Haley!

Miss Morgan Haley Christine was born on a Monday morning. I knew I was having a little girl and since both little girls were late and both boys early, I was a little surprised to find myself having little miss 2 weeks before her due date. We had joked around that Sunday night or Monday morning of Spring Break would be the perfect time for her to be born, as then I wouldn't have any activities to worry about with the kids or anything for a full week. Well that prior Saturday Momma and Deddy came to watch Christian's baseball game and Momma had the flu (unbeknownst at the time). So when I woke up throwing up in the wee hours of Monday morning I thought I had the flu as well. Little did I know, I was having a baby. After all the throwing up was over a couple of hours later, I finally settled in to go to take a nap before everyone got up. A wee little push was felt but after 20 minutes or so when nothing else happened I was on my way to dreamland again. That's when a ferocious push overtook me and I hollered for Paul which brought Toree running. From that point to birth was a whopping 15 minutes!! It was the most incredible experience ever.

Miss Morgan Haley Christine was born at 6:35am and weighed in at 6#14.2oz. She was named for two aunts that died in infancy ... Peggy Mahaley Maner and Christine Fernander. She is the first Maner baby to be born at home since Peggy Mahaley.
