Nearly the End of Winter Quarter

Oh wow, it's been a really long time since I updated. Let me apologize now!

This quarter has kicked me royally. I've never had so much to write and work on as I have this time around. It has been so tough on me that I would have gladly accepted a B in two of my classes and a C in the other. But my hard work is paying off... I have so far an A in two of my classes (Psychology and Criminology) and a B in the other (Police Work). IF I do well on the final in Police Work, I may be able to bring that B up to an A and I must do well on my Criminology final in order to keep my A. I can fail with a zero on my Psych final and still have an A ~ so no worries there.

I have to say, I am so happy with one of my grades on a paper that I worked really hard on, that I have to share it with everyone. I had to write a paper on a criminal mind and because of another class I wound up choosing Kenny Hardwick. Many of you may remember him from the news, as he was constantly in the news for nearly a month back in July of 1992. Kenny killed his little girl - whether by accident or something else, is still only known by Kenny to this day - and then he told authorities that two men kidnapped her. Atlanta began a massive search for little Haley Hardwick, a mere 7 months old. Anyway, I profiled this criminal mind for my paper. I received a 100 for my efforts. What made me feel even better about my grade was that most students seemed to have failed the paper. Nicole, my professor, (whom was a classmate a grade ahead of me in school at Carrollton High) said, "Congratulations to all of you who wrote an outstanding paper - and anything over a 70 is outstanding. A few of you even made 100's - so it can be done people."

Anyway, finals are next week ... wish me luck!!
