It hits me in the back of the head ?!?

Madison's teacher has always reminded me and Madison of someone but I couldn't put my finger on it. Well, I had to take a form up to the school today for Madison to go on a field trip. As I was giving it to her teacher he did something that made me realize who it is that he reminds me of ... our friend Eric from Church who is serving in Iraq right now. So I was telling Madison who Mr. C. reminds us of. She told me that it couldn't be Eric cause she would know that right off the bat! I was telling her how subconciously, in the back of our minds, Mr. C. reminds us of Eric with his mannerisms and such more than how he looks.

So Madison gets in the car and proceeds to tell Bailey how she doesn't realize that Mr. C. reminds her of Eric but that bam, it hits her in the back of her head that he does!!! LOLOL

OUR 8th GRADE CHEERLEADERS WIN 2nd PLACE in Small Division!

Congratulation Girls!!!

The girls looked so cute! I can't wait to post pictures for you to see all of my hard work LOL!!! I DOUBLE french-braided the girls' hair and threaded black, white, and gold ribbon in their braids. The Coach did their make-up, one of the moms bleached all of their shoes, another mom made sure everyone had on white underwear, proper black bloomers, and the brand new striped socks bought just for competition.

In competition they did extremely well - obviously if they got 2nd place!!! They got out on the floor and had to wait about 5 minutes for the music to start. They were perfect just standing there in their ready position without moving! We were so glad we had warned them of such things happening and how to handle it. They did awesome!

It was time to call Christian during competition so he got to hear the team compete AND win!
